Need help finding a myth

Hi I'm new to this forum and need help finding a myth.
All I know is there is some thing about a wall where the carvings in it are alive and will pull people into it to become part of the wall. I'm not sure if its an accual myth but any info would be helpfull thanks in advance

Sounds more like a horror story than an actual myth.
I've never heard of it.

It kind of reminds me of The Haunting. Owen Wilson, C. Zeta-Jones, Lili Taylor, and Liam Neeson play a group of insomniacs invited to a haunted mansion. There is a scene in the movie where figures on a carving come to life. The antagonist, I think played by Todd Field, tries to trap Lili Taylor in the mansion, but she defeats him and instead he is pulled in by these figures and taken to hell. I thought it was a pretty okay movie, but from what I remember it didn't get very good ratings.

I remember having watched that movie. Didn't much like it as I recall, and don't remember much of what happened. Repressed it I guess.
